PE

PE is on Thursday. Children are expected to come to school dressed in their PE kit, a white top, black joggers/red or black shorts (no cycling shorts, please.), and trainers. Please ensure earrings are removed for PE. This half term our theme is dance.

Reading

Children are expected to read at home every day for 10 minutes. Children will take home a book for you to read to them over the weekend. During the week they will bring home reading scheme books which they will read to you. Please ensure you sign reading records once you have heard your child read. Please note that this is checked and logged daily. You can support your child with their reading by talking about the illustrations and asking questions about the book.

Homework

Please focus on supporting your child with their phonics and reading. Additional homework will not be set this term.
