Attendance

The average attendance for primary aged pupils in England and Wales is 96%; this is now the DfE’s expected level of attendance for children in primary schools.

As part of our pupil welfare procedures, we carry out a regular pupil attendance analysis and will be sharing this with you on a term-to-term basis

It is vital that both parent/carers and school are committed to enabling children to achieve and sustain the highest levels of attendance.

Please remember that unless there is a valid medical reason for not attending school then your child should attend every day!
