Secondary School Transfers
Children born between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013 will transfer to their Secondary Schools in September 2024.
As St Augustine is a member school of Trinitas Academy Trust, it is a named feeder school for Trinity CofE Secondary School, Belvedere. This means that children attending St Augustine are given high priority when applying for a place at Trinity C of E Secondary School, Belvedere.
Selection tests for Bexley's selective secondary schools take place each year in September. Children will only sit the tests if their parent opts in. The application period to register children for the September 2023 selection tests runs from 15th May 2023 until 30th June 2023. Late applications are not accepted.
If you register your child to take the test they will be invited to attend a local test centre to sit the test during the week of 11th September 2023. St Augustine does not act as a test centre for the tests.
The application period for parents to apply for a secondary school place will open on 1st September 2023 and run until 31st October 2023. Late applications may be made, but will only be considered once all of the on time applications have been finalised. We cannot stress enough how important it is to apply on time or your child may not secure a place at the school of their choice.
Families who live in the borough of Bexley should apply online using the Bexley Council website: www.bexley.gov.uk/admissions
If you are unable to apply online you can request a paper form from Bexley Council.
Families not living in Bexley should apply to their home local authority.
Emails and letters notifying parents of the school allocated to their child will be sent by your local authority in March 2024.
