St Augustine of Canterbury C of E Primary School joined Trinitas Academy Trust in August 2013. Since this time, the school has shown a year on year improvement. In 2016, KS2 pupils achieved above the national average in Writing, Maths, and SPaG, whilst Reading was slightly below. Reading has been the number one school improvement priority since 2014 and outcomes have improved each year. In 2017, for the first time, pupils achieved above the national expectation in Reading. Furthermore, pupils achieved above national in every subject and the number of pupils achieving the combined expected in Reading, Writing and Maths was well above the national average.
The school experienced a 'dip' in KS2 SATs results in 2017/18. However, 2018/19 results are once again showing positive progress measures in Reading and Maths and an improvement in Writing progress from the year before.
Please see below the school's performance data for the Academic Year 2018/19.
